About Me
Hello! I’m Jorge Jaramillo, a Colombian writer born in La Ceja, Antioquia, in 1996. I’ve always seen words as a gateway to exploring worlds, emotions, and mysteries, a passion that has led me to embrace literature as a way of life.
My stories have appeared in publications like Revista Cronopio—with “Olvido” in 2020—and Revista Universidad de Antioquia with “El Gato” in 2023. I’ve also had the honor of receiving literary recognition, including “El Sastre,” the winner of Sonsón’s inaugural cultural incentives contest, and “El Sueño,” a finalist in the Antioquia Reimagined Short Story Contest.
I’m the author of “Giraffe horn and other strange side effects,” my debut book—a collection of tales exploring pain, death, and love. My favorite genres are mystery, fantasy, and horror, which constantly inspire my current and future projects.
This website is not only a space to share my stories, reviews, and reflections, but also a hub for news and updates about my upcoming books and projects. It’s designed for passionate readers and for writers looking for tools and inspiration on their creative journey.
Thank you for visiting this little corner dedicated to the art of storytelling and for supporting Colombian and Latin American art. I hope you enjoy exploring it as much as I enjoy creating it.
